Enjoy the beauty of Cayambe-Coca Park on a hike through the wilderness. This park is the primary source of water for the city of Quito, and is located in the Andean mountains, at 3,300 meters above sea level. Within the 403, 103 hectare park, is a RAMSAR protected area. With 81 lakes, trout fishing is a popular pastime, as is searching for wildlife, with a wonderful variety of animals making their home in this park. One visitor favourite activity is the Santa Catalina hot springs, which offer some serious relaxation and body and soul mending.
